Anglo Chinese School (Independent), Singapore: one of the top IB schools in the world
British independent schools feature heavily in the top positions of global IB Diploma league tables, particularly dominated by the so-called superselective London day schools, along with a small number of high performing boarding schools, but there are a few exceptions, notably from Asia and the Middle East. It is a shame that the majority of US based IB world schools do not publish their average point scores, but it is quite possible that they would not be able to compete with the most selective British or Asian international schools in any case.
The below global ranking of IB Diploma schools is based on published data for the academic year 2017/2018. Please note that the IB Diploma exams are held in two cycles: for exams in November 2017, results were published in January 2018 (for schools that run on a January December timetable, notably in some parts of Asia and Australia, as well as South Africa), results for exams in May 2018 were published on July 5th 2018. Where results have not been published yet, July 2017 scores will be used and updated in the coming weeks.
